FAQs
How many songs do you release a day?
Typically we release five songs a day, sometimes less, sometimes more. We enjoy what we do, so we’re in the studio full time.
Do you do requests?
Yes, if you are looking for more music in a genre, we can take your request into consideration. There are so many genres and we don’t have skills in some, so give us time.
Can I give an idea for a song?
Yes. We welcome suggestions. Please contact us. When you give your idea, you give it as a gift, and there is no compensation given.
What Bible translation do you use for songs?
We use the Klesia translation of the New Testament, which uses Attic, Homeric and Platonic Greek. For Old Testament passages, we either translate it direct from the Hebrew or use the Geneva translation.
What’s your stance on theology?
We believe in the Bible. We are not denominational. We do not get into discussing doctrine in our songs, See Titus 3.
Why don’t you mention God or Jesus?
We use Jesus’ Hebrew name Yeshua in all our songs, as that is His proper name. Likewise, God’s proper name is Yahweh. This is consistent among all our songs. This may take a learning curve for some, but we believe it is important.
Why don’t you have my favorite genre?
We have a lot of genres, but some genres are challenging to do with meaningful lyrics. We’ve found our experiments with heavy metal haven’t worked well. We are still trying to master this genre, but we are stronger in some - like country, and blues.
Why aren’t there more songs in my favorite genre?
We create our lyrics first, and then match to the genre as we are led. We are working to fill all the genres as fast as possible. Your support will help make that happen.
My password isn’t working.

When will you have my language for music on the platform?
We are working to get as many languages as possible for music on the platform. We have a strong focus at the moment on Hindi, Hebrew and Arabic.
Will you have a mobile app?
We have a basic mobile app for android (available now for sideloading) and iOS (coming soon). We will have a fully fledged app with all the features you expect when we move out of beta.
Where does the name Rua come from?
It is short for the name “Ruach” which means ‘Spirit’ and is the first word of the name ‘Ruach Ha’Kodesh’ which is the Hebrew word for the Holy Spirit.
